Started at 7AM, using 4 different rubs I found online (3 home made) since I'm trying to find the best beef rub.
Cooking at 250°, won't wrap this time.
Spritzing with beef broth, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce every 1h.
first time I use marinade and sauce, they taste sweeeeeeeeet!
Marinade with butter, brow sugar and honey. Sauce is Budweiser honey BBQ sauce and apple cider.
2-2-1 hours cooked until internal temp hit 195.
First time doing this, looks pretty good.
Cooked at 450, then 325 until internal temperature reached 120, let rest for 20min.
Will take a pic when I slice it.
I brined it overnight with buttermilk, water, kosher salt and rub. Then I applied the base rub and BBQ rub.
Smoked for about 2.5h at 275 degrees on my Kamado Joe with pecan/apple wood chunks until internal temp reached 165.
It tasted really good. I'm glad I learned about brining...
