    I have never really figured out why people think it will take 8 hours to smoke a turkey. If I put it in my oven at 325 deg it should only take me 3.5 hours to roast an 18lb bird.     I dont have one a smoker like that but I have learned that if I wrap my wood chunks in foil tightly I still get the smoke but with out the oxygen it wont catch fire. Also the next day when you open the foil you will have great home made charcoal....

    Review: Maverick Wireless BBQ Thermometer Set - Maverick ET73

    I received 2 white 732's today.... I finally took the plunge to get them. I think one may be defective as sitting in my living room one probe says 79 and the other 84, the second unit both say 86 so I don't know what the real temp is but at least both of those probes read the same on it...lol...

    I injected it with Tony's Cajun butter last night. I oiled this morning with EVOO and rubbed with Plowboys Yardbird put on the pit at 250 and took it up to 300 i used pecan for the first two hours then only lump...  You can see by the qview basically everything else that went on....   Thank you...
