i took the time and did a 12 hour brisket cook this weekend , the results for me , maybe a 7 out of 10 . but still pretty tasty. i smoked it with Pecan wood and though it could be a tad more smokey .
I started out with a decent rub from food network years ago , and this is what is morphed into
1ts salt
1ts Pepper
1ts garlic salt
1ts paprika
1ts chilli powder
1ts garlic powder
.5 ts dried thyme
.5 ts dried oregano
4 TBS brown Sugar
