    I have been making burger jerky for about a yearand having a great time.  Now I am taking a big jump into smokin! can't wait to get going.  FedEx just delivered my new smoker SmokinTex 1400.   Can anyone tell me how to season my new unit, and any care as far as cleaning if needed. Thanks,

    I make a lot of hambuger jerky, the guys at work love it.  I use LEM equipment, Jerky Cannon, large stainless dehydrator, tube style mixer.  I am really into it  .
