I have a deep fat fryer under my carport. Over time it gathered a lot of dust and grime on just sitting there . I made a cover for it out of a shower curtain. Now it clean! I just bought the mes 40 new gen with window.
Nope, not too many chips. I did look in it this am. It is scraping metal to metal in the rear where end of chip loader goes. Strange to me it was smooth as silk . After I had it curing for the initial smoke up it seemed the metal warped.
I have a gen two MES. I added chips to it for the first time. Let it smoke down and the next time I tried to add more chips the chip holder was difficult to insert and would not twist to empty. Any ideas why or how to correct it?
Where to put it? On the bottom shelf? A brisket lets loose a lot of fat. It will be dripping all over the bottom of the smoker and in the electric element and probably catch on catch fire!!

When one smokes a brisket there is a lot of fat rendering and dripping. What method would catch the drippings for easy removal and not interfere with the electric parts and the smoke pan??? I have a Master Built 40 electric smoker.
