    Smoking meat at 140°?

My pellet smoker like to smoke at 140 to 150. After awhile I turn it on cook mode at like 225. Is this dangerous. I did ribs yesterday at 135 to 145 for 3hrs on smoke before I turned it up to 225. Is this safe? Please any info.. thanks

    Beef Brisket questions..

Its says on the Treager recipe website to turn Treager on smoke mode for 4hrs before turning onto cook mode. What temp is okay for 4hr and wha is dangerous for 4hrs. I have a chargriller wood pellet pro and on smoke mode it gets as low as 110°. Should I just use my AMNS tube @ 225° right away?

    Char Griller Wood Pellet questions

Still just cant figure this thing out. I bought an expanding A Maze N tube tonight. Hopefully that will help. Ive tried making meat on smoke mode then switching to cook mode but found that was very incosistent on flavor/temp. So now I guess Im gonna try just straight cook mode with the tube...

I use a reg. Extention cord. Heavy duty. Same size or bigger than cord on grill. And the outlet is a routine garage plug in

Yes i use an extention cord. Not sure why that matters? Its get to temp just zero smoke until hrs of running
