    My First Pulled Pork!

Thanks Guys........and Lady. I appreciate the support and ideas that I get here. I have not really smoked a lot of butts in the past, however I hope to correct that problem in the future. I really didn't know about the 'secrets' of pulled pork. I always wondered how you got it to pull so good...

newspaper or office documents as fire-starter

I just sit the loaded chimney on my Turkey frier stand and fire it up. Charcoal is raging in ten seconds!!! If you don't have one I do suggest placing some heavier paper or cardboard between coals and newspaper. I had a lot of problems getting it to light with just newspaper.

Dual RF Smokers on trailer....My first adventure

Around here we call those 'Gorilla welds' ......ugly but strong!  I am not a welder either, and when I originally built mine I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Didn't know about SMF, pit calc. circle calc or any of those other wonderful tools that helps you to build it right. I was working...

    Anybody like pecan wood?

Smoker21 The reason you let your wood dry out is because the sap in the tree will cause cresote and bad tastes. If you are picking dropped limbs up from the ground they should already be dry enough to use.

    First Pizza Cook on Grill

Thanks! Like I said I was testing, so I didn't want to have to buy a bunch of stuff. Tried to use what I already had here. Won't be too long until I will be getting serious with it for a birthday though. That is when the CBR (Chicken Bacon Ranch)will get going.I have also put diced onion and...

    First Pizza Cook on Grill

That would work out great. When I do my chicken bacon ranch pizza I always cook the chicken on the grill. With the pizza riser on my Weber charcoal kettle I am hitting those 600-900 degree temps. If you look at the pic I posted of the temp dial it had wrapped all the way around and was coming...

    First Pizza Cook on Grill

If you have a nice big fire coming up past the stone it only takes 5-6 mins, maybe. You just have to keep rotating it. If the fire is below the stone and cooler obviously it takes longer. As far as smoke flavor it was hard for me to tell. Then again a lot of time other people can taste it better...

    Beercan Chickens with Qview

Not sure where all you can get it but I used a Buffalo Rock Southern Spice Ginger Ale one time. It was great in the chicken. Couldn't stand to drink it though. That extra kick it has actually come through in the meat and was good.

    Homemade Pizza Cooker For Weber

Pretty much. I had to split the ring and re-fit it so that it would fit inside the bottom of the grill. The lid doesn't fit like I would like for it to , but if you can make clean cuts it will still seal up pretty good. The bolts actually hold the ring up some, and also hold the standard grate...

    Homemade Pizza Cooker For Weber

These are the pics of the first burn out and seasoning. I didn't even have the grate in place at this time. I was going to burn my grate clean, but when it started to glow red in places I figured I better get it off. The band is about 9" tall and the slot is 4" tall and wide enough to get the...

    First Pizza Cook on Grill

Hoping that this is a good place for this one. If not let me know. This is actually the last pizza cooked. The first ones the fire was so high I had to keep rotating the pizza to keep them from burning too bad. By the time the one previous to this and this one went on the fire had died down a...
