    I use pecan for pretty much everything I smoke, but I really like apple, or peach with pork. Sure it will be great.

    3lb rack of pork using Stubbs pork rub for the first time marinated it for a couple hours while building the fire (oak and pecan) because it what I have. Here it is on the ole char broil.

    Just cause I like qview picture! been on for a hour sitting at 100 degrees. Also for the first 30 min did heavy pecan smoke then apple hoping the apple gives it a sweetness to balance the peppery seasoning! apple smoke.

    a little hot but can be adjusted!in my cheapo char-broil. Will smoke till meat is 130 or so let it rest. Then sear on grill.

    Going to be smoking this bad boy today. Using pecan and apple wood. the rub is just Montreal steak seasoning sat over night.
