    Ha, did habaneros a few years ago, luckily put the dehydrator on the porch. Walking the kids to school the next day it was like pepper spray on the porch.

    I am running a 1970's Ronco, does the job but has zero settings. The one time I tried jerky in it was a huge fail. Does Ok for fruit and spices but not much else.

    For the cost of that set I would have bought it also. I have one of those blue ones and it has performed very well. Not going to knock the hexclad (never used) I am sure they are phenomenal but a high price point.

    I can see why they would not buy via Venmo or Zelle, they offer very little protection from fraud. Paypal is my go to for online purchases. Never had an issue getting my $$$ back from a bad transaction.
