I was going to try bacon and maybe summer sausage, But I have never done either so im totally lost..can you do it in a offset smoker without the amnps or will it get to hot..sorry for the stupid questions..lol
It does depend on the temp of your smoker also, but what ive read on here is spare ribs you use the 3-2-1 or there abouts and 2-2-1 for BB but I keep a eye on them It also matters how much you ribs weigh but those are just guide lines.. hope this helps
ok thank you.. This will be my first attempt I was wondering about using an AMNPS in a horizontal smoker to cold smoke ive read a lot on here but never read that anyone used a AMNPS in a horizontal so I didn't know if you could or not
Thank you!! The reason I was asking was I was going to try bacon..Can you smoke bacon on a horizontal without cooking it?? and if so do you have any pointers..Thanks Tim
My first smoker was a Brinkman bullet electric smoker, I just did turkeys on it and it was a long process, then I went to the little charbroil offset smoker, now I have a BBQ pro that I got for 50 bucks at a garage sale and I really like it, it does need a few mods though
