Planning on smoking a beer can chicken tomorrow that is about 6.5 lbs. I know 165 IT for the breast area. Any guess on the time so I can plan the rest of the meal?
Just wanted to provide what I did with the smoker on my last smoke that turned out really good with no real modifications. Hoping to pay back a little for all the help I have gotten. Wish I would have taken pictures and hope I described this in enough detail.

Thanks. This site has been a real help. Last hour or so. Did 1/2 dry and 1/2 wet. Just sweet baby rays cut with apple juice. Keep fingers crossed I don't screw up the finish lol.
Ok. Did a quick check and rotated in the pan. 1 more hour to go in foil. Temps holding steady and intake vent almost fully shut. Very happy on how this is going. Thanks to all of your help.
