Well.... I brined them with my maple bbq turkey brine. Then I injected them with butter, brown sugar, and spiced rum. Then forgot to put them on the smoker. :(
Getting ready for the Christmas turkey smoke. What do you do with there giblets. I usually throw them to the dog but thinking maybe I'll smoke them too. Any tips?
Mother in law has a BTIS1. The advance button was sticking so I cleaned it up and thats working now. It still wont advance automatically like it should. Cleaned up the contacts the blew out the smoke gen. Any other cheap tricks to try before I start replacing the electronics?

This has worked good for me, family loves it. The frozen shrimp are relatively inexpensive. Chicken is also a good choice.
I dont do alot of beef. This is discounted meat from Walmart so who knows how good it is. I'll try the Texas rub. All thoughts and ides are greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone.

Search for Jeffs maple bbq turkey. Made it at Thanksgiving last year and it was requested again for Christmas. They say bigger turkeys are better suited for the spatchcok method.
