    Bisquettes wont advance

Mother in law has a BTIS1. The advance button was sticking so I cleaned it up and thats working now. It still wont advance automatically like it should. Cleaned up the contacts the blew out the smoke gen. Any other cheap tricks to try before I start replacing the electronics?

How did you get started in grilling and smoking.

I'm 48 and since I was as a teen my dad would have a get together for Memorial Day. I started as friends and family and evolved into a family reunion that continues to this day. Nothing fancy. Just a home-built smoker, no brine, or fancy thermometers. He's passed that down to myself, my cousins...

    ? on smoking a turkey

Search for Jeffs maple bbq turkey. Made it at Thanksgiving last year and it was requested again for Christmas. They say bigger turkeys are better suited for the spatchcok method.
