    Yep, I went there a while back and took Todd's advice to order through Amazon, along with his temperature chart.  That way he gets recognition from Amazon for sending business their way.

    NO, NO, NO!  Sorry.  I was looking at the door mounted thermometer incorrectly, it actually has 2 scales, and I was reading the wrong one.  The temperature on the two thermometer is actually fairly close together. (still ordering a new one on amazon tonight)

    Burning in the new Masterforce Pro, dual fuel.  Door mounted thermometer, 275 degrees.  Oven thermometer inside, on rack, 475 degrees. I'll be dialing into Amazon tonight.

    After doing some web searches, even the Maverick website says that there can be problems with the probe wires shorting out due to moisture.  Hard to believe that probes with problems such as this would be of any use at all in cooking.  Do other probes with braided sheathes have the same problems?

    New Masterbuild Duel Fuel Smoker.....I'm addicted!!

    I just got the same smoker, and I'm jazzed.  I'm looking forward to hearing more about your experiences with this smoker, so keep on posting.  A little bit of new snow this morning, so that puts things off for a little while, here.
