Just curious if anyone else has this problem

Absolutely no apology needed, I'm actually glad you said that about hurricanes. Even though smoking is a hobby it should be considered a necessity. IMHO

Just curious if anyone else has this problem

I agree with you, we also have become so relayant on electricity and natural gas that heaven forbid there was a major disaster we would be screwed if we couldn't call dominos.

Just curious if anyone else has this problem

Jarjar you are sooo lucky!! I do not have a homeowners association. All of us are neighbors but homeowners. I basically can do as I please but I try to be respectful. I've just had it with the nosey Whiney neighbors. It really is a turn off when they are constantly poking around every time you...

Just curious if anyone else has this problem

I live in a house that has a yard with 2 grills, one charcoal, one gas and my wsm. I don't use them every week but I try to get out there. Our houses are next to each other and our lots are 50x100 just to give you an idea. I know the chimney creates a lot of smoke in the beginning so my question...

    Meatloaf on the Mini WSM

That looks awesome! I do have a couple questions By how you explained, you wrapped the potatoes and put them on at the same time as the meatloaf, tell me, they were cooked through? What temp did you do this? Lastly how long did it take?

Winter coat for my Jimmy and UDS aka Silver Smoker

I like this! I do have questions! Please keep in mind that I am no expert and I just started smoking a few months ago. It was warm out then now it's getting cold. 1 what type of material is that? 2. Where did you buy it? 3. Did you join it with duct tape? 4. Did you find that it was blocking...

One more thing I'd like to add. Which ever one you buy, it is a great investment no matter what size you choose. You can always pay it forward.

    WSM....18" or 22"???

Hi I have the 22' and it's only the two of us. I also do entertain in the warmer weather. If you entertain often then the 22' is better. It does burn a lot of charcoal but there is so much more room to feed a crowd. You can cook a lot on that thing. It does take you a few times to get used to...

    Decisions decisions....

    Decisions decisions....

I've had a brisket in my freezer for a couple of weeks now. I'm toying with the idea of smoking it for thanksgiving. I see all the great posts as well as the not so great posts about it so I'm a little apprehensive about it. My brisket I believe weighs about 8 lbs. I've never tried a brisket...
