    How can I connect these: firebox to smoke chamber

    If you can get some angle iron or cut some flat sheet to fit in like this maybe it will be easy to weld up. I would sq up the smoke chamber and the fit the firebox up to it then.

    Welding/Build question needs some help with cast iron to cast steel weld.

    Yes it can be welded, sometimes welding cast iron might make a preacher say a dirty word.... If your welder is knowledgeable about working with cast iron it will work, but IMHO I would look around for a good steel tank to use to save the trouble of having something crack later down the road.

    Man that turned out sweet have ya tried a pizza yet? I put my.smoker aside to built some stuff for our Jeep few weekends ago also...lol Its a rough life when ya got to sit around and smoke and build stuff :biggrin:
