    You are so right Al, the wsm amazes me. I was so surprised at how quickly the temps recovered after taking the lid off, and how steady of a temp that thing holds. they was some of the best ribs I've done yet. Thanks every body

    sounds like maybe you had to much salt in your rub, Ive had the same thing happen many times, so I adjusted the salt amount in my rub and they have been spot on since.

    Just like some of the other guys were saying, pressure treated is harmless these days, they don't contain arsenic anymore I believe they use copper to treat them.
