The smoker is still seasoning, I took the time to drill out some holes for the new thermometers and attached the elbow to the chimney. Like i saidearlier there is still rust but it is now smoothed out. The temp pics were taken with in seconds and that was with out the tuning plates and baffle...- schaydu

Update, I just finished removing most of the rust with a wire wheel. I could not get it all off but it is now smooth to the touch. Now i am going to season the inside as instructed. Heat resistant paint
I just picked up two 15 oz cans for 4.78 each. They were actually 7.98 but they were in the wrong area so they gave them to me at a reduced cost. Im in the process of sanding mine and painting.- schaydu

Birthday Butt
Happy bday first of all, and the butt looks great! I absolutely love lazy days, except i dont know, at least from my experiences, if doing a nine pound butt would be considered as do the least possible. haha -
