well this weekend I pulled a brisket outta the freezer. My father-in-law was in town and figured it was this or hamburger helper lol and we know HH just aint gonna cut it! !
I think I cut it pretty good between the point and flat
seasoned it up with a basic brisket rub

ok so the fatty didn't turn out that great the turkey didn't want to stay together! But the ribs went on at noon
first I trimed it all up
and seasoned them with carolina rump shake
about 5:00
I sauteed up sum shrimp and asperagus
it was soooooooooooo good
Well Valentine's day is Sunday and I am smoking up a feast for the wife! ! I am gonna give a turkey fatty a try ( go ahead and snicker my wife wants a healthier version so I caved) then I plan on attempting ribs again. Went to the meat market today and picked up a five pound rack of spares...

ok so I havee heard lots about this membrane on the backside of ribs and that I should remove it before smoking for better textured ribs ...........
What does it look like ? ? ? I did my first ribs two weeks ago ( total bomb ) since then I have been itching to give it another shot but even then...
well the other weekend I started out to make some ribs ...........................that didn't happen ! !
so for the superbowl I decided to make up for it

thanks everyone for the great advice now I am getting excited ! ! ! I won't lie I have been intimidated by ribs and haven't tried them for that reason. Looking forward to it now ! ! !
