Thought I would say Hello as I have just joined the group. I'm retired military and retired civil service on Ft Riley. Not new to smoking meat, been in the forum for 2 years or so. I'm in Manhattan KS and have just moved up from a ECB gas smoker to a Louisiana LG 700 pellet smoker.

Received the Louisiana LG 700 pellet smoker/grill at 3pm today 25 July 2014. The delivery vehicle was a full 53ft semi. I had told the dispatcher about the construction on our street, but he didn’t pass that on to the driver. When the driver got to our street he saw what was going on...

My wife and I were at the marina where we keep our boat and another boating friend saw me and said “Hi Captain” and my reply was “Hi Skipper” and I just took the name of Cptn_Jon as my e-mail handle.
To my knowledge it does not Scott. I smoked it until I had an internal temp that said it was done (about 160). I bought the bulk sausage at the super market (W-Mart). You should not have a problem if your internal temp is to your liking for doneness. Enjoy your smoked labor. Jon
