    Ok so i am considering doing this mailbox mod. I have a MED 30 analog which does not have a chip loader to remove. I see that is how everyone runs the pipe through. I'm gonna have to cut a hole in my smoker. What will be the best way to cut a hole in smoker?

    Dave on my MES model there is no chip loader or vent control. Its a hole to vent and chips go inside in a pan.

    The AMNPS works great when the element is on and heating. I ended up warm smoking. But I need to figure out the cold smoking issue so I can make Lox and other cold smoking uses. I'm wondering if i put a bigger smoke vent in???

    I bought one from the same farmer last year. he walks them onto the scale before putting them into the pen before slaughter. weight is accurate. Just thouggt id get some opinions if im paying too much or if its a good price.

    Okay so I'm looking for your opinion on buying a pig already raised. The price is $250 for a 300-330 lb hog. Is this a good price versus buying all the meat in store?
