i am going to smoke two pork butt roasts iam going to rub them and wrap them in plastic overnight now is the question i am going to wrap them in bacon do i do this the night before or can i wait until i put them in the smoker thanks for the input
snowing in anybody elses town here it has been snowing all day it is a good thing iam at work. we have at least 2 or more inchs. and it is still going strong
the way i do my brats is i slow cook them in a slow cooker on low for four hours i throw in garlic liquid smoke bay leaf some bbq sauce bell peppers and onion then enough beer to cover. after four hours put them on the grill just to get some color and enjoy
thats the same one i got it told me that my turkey was done in two hours i checked it with my old one and it was only at 140. i did a check with both the old and new and they were within 2 degrees so i dont have any clue what went wrong when i had it in the turkey.
i also baught a new digital thermo and used on my turkey the alarm went off in two hours i knew this had to be wrong so i checked it with my other one and it was only at 140 degrees how do i get it to work right.
