Can't go wrong with either one, but I do tend to favor beef, if I can get them from the butcher. Just not much meat on the ones they put out for the monthly sale.
Thanks Dave. My SIL is giving me her old slicer (2 yrs) that she only used a couple of times as it is too awkward for her to move around. Will be giving it a very good going over.

Done perfectly. Must have been a mouthful of juice in every bite. Haven't been able to find pecan wood around me yet, just chips and pellets. Do love the flavour it gives though. Great job.
