    What am I missing here

I haven't ever tried cooking faster or cutting the butts up. I have frozen pulled pork many times and it does reheat wonderfully. I'm guessing you don't have a 100# crock pot, but defrosting in one the day of the party works great.

    Rec Tec feedback

Thanks, I'm really hoping that it's as good as I think it is, not just that they manage their image well. Hopefully someone that owns one will chime in and put me at ease.

    Rec Tec feedback

Hey All, I used my chargriller smokin pro fully moded out until it fully rusted out (which didn't take that long).  I went electric with the Bradley but I had to add a second heating element and the controller frequently freezes up.  After having been burned, I'm ready for a quality unit that...

    Laziest Qview ever

The last time I smoked (two weeks ago) I was lazy and only took this one picture.  (Of the leftovers)   Chuck Roast Pastrami Rib roast 4 fatties Dinner was great and the freezer was happy to have some leftovers as well. I'm smoking today and I'll try to actually take some pictures.

New Platform - What do you think?

I'll echo whoever said that they are here for the content not the looks.  I'm in a lot of forums (only one smoking forum though, this meets my smoking-expert needs thanks everyone:)) and what makes a forum great is the members not the site. I would say that overall the site looks prettier, but...

how to change text under your name

Thanks for the removal rich.  I'll have to just track hours elsewhere.  Any upgrade will cause a loss in functionality somewhere along the line, I know the routine. Have a good one, Tim

how to change text under your name

Hello, I've been off the forum for a few weeks and things sure are different! I'm not sure what the name of the field is, but i used to use the custom text you could put under your name as an hourmeter for my chargriller.  I need to update it and can't find it anywhere.  The field I am talking...

I call it the 20/20 Charcoal basket...

I regret to report that my 20/20 basket bit the dust.  After roughly 100 hours of smoking, the center got a hole in it.  I tried to bend it back and most of the bottom was super brittle and broke off in my hands.
