    What pellets do you buy?

I used to use BBQ'ers Delight and they worked very well. I just recently decided to switch to Lumberjack 100% Hickory to try to get more smoke flavor. I store mine in 5gal buckets with gamma seal lids.

Pellet Storage-Gamma Seal Lid-5 gal bucket

While I understand it seems silly to worry about storing the pellets when the comes in a package, I went ahead and bought the gamma seal lids with 5 gal. buckets. It is easier to organize and if I just want to fill my AMZPS I don't have to worry about having an open bag. Thanks for all the...

    Camp Chef SmokePro PG24STX

Woot is owned by Amazon so if you are a prime member shipping is free and I believe if you are not a member shipping is $5. For that price I would give it a shot if I needed one.

Pulled Pork and Wicked Baked Beans

Decided to smoke a pork butt today and it turned out great. Smoked using hickory pellets set to 225 for first 3hrs than 250 until finished, total of 9hrs. Also did some wicked baked beans. By far my favorite baked bean recipe.

    Help me pick new smoker/grill

I cooked with a propane grill for years and I feel like the cook times a very similar. You do have to learn your hot spots for sure, like it is hotter above the fire box.

    Help me pick new smoker/grill

It did for me. I can grill everything on it, it works very well as a grill. That's one of the reasons I like it so much. Besides the fact it is built like a tank.

    Help me pick new smoker/grill

I feel like any pellet smoker it does a lighter smoke flavor (which is perfect for my wife). I have been adding a AMNTS for additional smoke flavor. The Yoder does a wonderful job at maintaining temperatures. I also love that it can reach high enough temperatures to sear.

    Help me pick new smoker/grill

I have a Yoder YS640 and absolutely love it. I have owned Traegers in the past and they do not compare to my Yoder. I have mine on a wood deck without worries.
