    Seasoning WSM 22.5

I seasoned mine with a load of charcoal and few lbs of cheap bacon. Here is how I set mine up. full bag of KBB minion method. I lay my wood chunks around the depression for the lit charcoal. I light 20-25 in my chimney and dump them in once ashed over. Bottom 3 vents are open enough to stick...

    New guy from Chicago

This would be an easy mod to make. Lowes and Home Depot both sell various metal brackets with holes. With these brackets you could attach the legs and not disturb the cook chamber. Attaching this way would probably also be stringer and last longer. So many options to make the station fold out...

    Brisket

Hey kevin, I see no problem with applying your rub a few days in advance. I usually dry brine for 1-2 days and then apply any run the day before. On Brisket I typically use SPG, so at times I will apply PG at the same time and let it ride for a few days. Good luck with your smoke.

I have not made any mods..it really doesn't need much. I did add a ball valve and some piping to make drying and cleaning a little easier. I have only burned hickory as a fuel and smoke source. Once up to temp this thing rums pretty even. Depending on the weather just a split every 30 - 50...

    Lone Star Grillz LSG 24x48

Hey guys, Does anyone here have a Lone Star Grillz offset smoker?  I am seriously considering the LSG 24"x48".  I really like the design of this smoker.  The quality seems second to none.  I might possibly go for the LSG 24"x 48" with the vertical slow smoker.  For the price difference I figure...
