Over the years I tried every type and brand I could get my hands on. Couple years ago I tried Jealous Devil briquettes. Only coal I keep on hand now.

I have a Kamado Kettle Joe too. I never really looked for accessories for it as I just use it as a charcoal grill. But check this guy out on YouTube he primarily cooks on Kamado's and I am sure you'll find some info.

Thats the plan Chris. I agree its a decent sized unit and would never be set as a permanent fixture in home. It will spend most of its time in my storage room with my other goodies, but will place it in my utility room or garage when needed to use.

I think so too. My purpose for it is for if I need to put a long rest on something or as you said get togethers. Wow I had no idea of the price on your side, crazy!
