intakes are all 3/4 . Did notice ran best with one cap removed and ball valve all the way open, and I know you guys regulate w/ just the valve , so should I bump em up in size or are you refering just to the valve? thanx !
Put together my U.D.S. today . thanks to all the great tutorials by Bbq Bubba and others on this great forum. And yeah , its ugly ! Nother coat of paint wont hurt.

Thanks cowgirl ! Yes , I have heard about the shop vac method and think it is a great idea.However my plan was if my build is succesfull I would like to make a few more to give away to some friends and family who also enjoy a good q. Not all of em will have a shop vac layin around !

Havent tried myself, but just came to me, couldnt you use the same expandable metal we use for our charcoal baskets to make a pepper rack ? Seems the openings would be just about right.Not near my cooker so cant check, but maybe ?????
