I am not an early morning person. 3 am is wayyyyy to early for me but I make exceptions for something good like this. Put it on at about 3:50. Now let the waiting begin. Rubbed it down some more after sitting in fridge rubbed down for 6 hours. -

Been a while since I've done my first one and since I have posted. Going after my second butt with a 10 lb er. First one turned out good but there is always room for improvement. I'll be putting it on the mes30 about 3 in the morning. -

Just picked this up at Lowes today for 80. Cheapest price I have seen until I just read about Sam's a month ago. Was planning on smoking a butt this weekend so can not wait to try it out. All I've had up till now is a fork probe and the built in probe on my mes30 which is not accurate at all.- bamafan15

New to the Gen II MES 30 any advice?
I have had my mes30 I bought at Lowes for about a month now. Prior to getting it and coming to this site I had a bullit smoker about 5 years ago I now know I didn't really know how to use.
