I am kinda in the same boat. I want some solar but I am not "electricity" minded, meaning I do not understand it at all! As a result, I have been looking at the battery units with solar panels, kinda All In One units. I have not made a decision or purchase yet, but here is a little bit of what...
Check out SaBellCo.com I got my Tacoma tailgate lock from them. They have a lock for Tundra's as well.
This is my second Tacoma and 4th Toyota pick up.
Tired pup in her truck... Had to take the rear seats out.
BBQ, Trucks and Beer...... Love 'Merica!!!!!!
Howdy!!
I have an Army Green 2021 Dbl Cab Off Road 4x2 Auto. Ya, I know, how can it be off road and only a 4x2. I didn't want to pay extra for the 4x4 although with the condition of some of the roads around here, a 4x4 is needed.
I am not all that mechanical, but I was going to try...
I have a Toyota Tacoma which, while not lifted, has good ground clearance and easy to slide underneath. I did purchase a shield and had a buddy help install it.
I feel a little better now, but I have been reading the bad guys are also drilling gas tanks. Sigh..... It never ends....
Am in the process of building a smoker for things like cheese and perhaps bacon and sausage. Plan is to use charcoal for heat (ya, we will see how that goes..), but smoke will be tubes or trays. Smoker is about half done:
I have used a tube with pellets before, but I was curious about trays...
Wow, that looks great and you make it look so easy!! I tried it once and while I enjoyed it, the process seemed to take me 3 days. Have not tried since.....
Thank you all for the nice comments. This is why I like this forum, great people sharing!! It was a fun cook and I want to do more smoking. Just got lazy, and got a dog. I will have to make a Costco run to get some spares. I have never done those before. I tend to find something we like...
Huh, never thought of that. I too like to shred by hand and clean out fat and other parts that tend to be unpalatable. It does take awhile but I think you end up with a better product. I do love the Kitchenaid mixer. They are workhorses!!!
Looks tasty!!! Was there a beer? Nice bottle of wine? Chocolate Milk??
We cheat and buy the dough at Trader Joes when we make pizza. Your dough looks much better!! Nice Job
Howdy Everyone.... It has been awhile since I smoked some ribs and today was the day. I was wondering if I remembered how to do it. I had three racks in the freezer so out they came and sprinkled with a couple of rubs:
I like to use Big Ron's original rub and Sweet Money from Big Poppas...
In 2008 I found a cheap offset smoker at Home Depot and bought it on a whim. Played around and got results, would not call them great but they were results. Did some internet searching and found The Smoke Ring and was semi active on there for awhile. Good folks and helpful but over the years...
I have never seen my local Ralphs carry Swift products..............................until today!! Got 3 packs. They are individual packs of one rack each!! Nice. Costco only sells the packs with 3 racks. Thanks for the heads up. I will pay more attention to Ralphs now.
Love Tremors!
Another classic is Lake Placid. Has Betty White in it (RIP) and many memorable lines to use, but most involve some cursing and this is a family friendly forum....
