Dyna-glo 43in wide body propane smoker

I just got mine in today. I made an immeadiate mod right out of the box. The lower vents were incapable of completely sealing. In part to the bent handle and in part to the sholder bolt used to hold the vent in place. My solution? Take the vent completely off, swap the bolt for one used for the...

    Dyna-Glo Dual Burner LP Smoker

It shows up this week so I will do a seasoning and a quick temp check. I may go ahead and put an inline needle valve on the unit to ensure adequate fuel regulation. I will feed you the results as I get them. Along with pics.

Sodium aluminosilicate, a anti caking agent in rubs

You can buy the dessicant bags to put in your rubs to absorb moisture. That would keep your rub chemical free and still not clump.

    Dyna-Glo Dual Burner LP Smoker

I have the 43" dyna glo on its way. Ive seen alot of good reviews and I have also seen the occasional temp issues like you have. Most say that you need to close the bottom and top vents all the way. As for the smoke, many have switched to a cast iron chip tray and have gotten better results...

    Vertical smoker with a rotisserie

I have recently purchased a Dyna Glow 43" vertical gas smoker. I want to retro fit a rotisserie and Rib-o-lator into it. Funny thing is...I don't see anyone putting rotisseries into vertical smokers. Is there a reason? I put one in my old Smoky Mountain smoker and it was amazing. Looking for...

    Salt n Pepper chicken

I agree. My wife always wants to stack the spices on our steaks. I marinate them in a simple olive oil sea salt and cracked pepper mixture. You just cant go wrong.

    Rotisserie and smoker combo

Hey guys. I am looking for some info on why no one has put together a gas smoker rotisserie combo. I just ordered my 43 inch Dyna Glo and plan on putting a Rib-O-Lator rotisserie in it. Anyone else seen this done?
