For years, I had the good fortune of having a butcher in my wife's family who would grind up my venison for me. The butcher was great, but the wife wasn't... so I no longer have a butcher in the family. That prompted me to purchase a meat grinder from Cabela's. I was processing my first...
You.....ground.....up.......tenderloin.........
Elizabeth.....i think this is the big one........I'm coming to join you honey.
Just kidding, they should be some great sausage and snack sticks. Also, you are a kind man. My crew gets what I cook, or they are welcome to have a peanut butter...
Awesome looking ribs. Just for info purposes, that last hour out of the foil is to firm the meat up a bit. Some people think the texture is too soft after it's been steaming in the foil for 2 hours. That last uncovered hour firms the meat back up and gives you a little bark action. It's not...
I smoke whole chickens and then split them in half. Take the smoked halves and vac seal and freeze them. When you need a quick meal, just take out as many as you need and drop them into a pot of simmering water. They come back to life beautifuly (except for the skin). My mother in law loves...

Char Griller makes a little grill that has a knockout on the side so you can bolt it up to another pit and use it as a firebox. It's pretty thin gauge metal, but I also think it's pretty inexpensive. I think Home Depot and Lowes sell them.
Welcome back. Our hunting season is just getting started here. Guess it's time for you boys up north to kick back and let us southerners do some shooting. Spent all weekend brushing duck blinds and putting up deer stands.
I have a bunch of sausage left from last year as well. I'm going to...
Sounds unique. The only problem i have, is that I find grits to have a really unpleasant texture once they sit up like that. Kind of like ground up rubber balls smashed together in a cake. Other than that it sounds top-notch to me.
