Just packaged up some spam I made a couple of days ago . It tasted like spam , maybe even a tad better . Cant beat a good fried spam sandwich or spam and eggs .
I used the Sqwib method . Ive used this method a few times and had great results . I do add a couple days cure time to be on the safe side . I used some cherry sawdust for 1 1/2 hours . The smoke taste isnt overpowering and I think has a nice color . Give it a try , Ive always had good luck with it

I was going to order a couple of things from PS Seasonings . Have any of you tried the Blue Ribbon hot dog seasoning . Let me know what you think or maybe you guys could suggest a better seasoning for hot dogs . Thanks much !

I have to agree . I have a 20 pound mixer and although it saves on the hands it is kind of pain to clean . I think ill try my wifes kitchen aid mixer , a little easier to fit in the sink
I was with hyvee in the desmoines area for a few years . My brother in law owned a locker plant in carlisle . I worked there through high school until he sold it then went with hyvee . Good company , Im from minnesota and moved back and retired a meat cutter here in the twin cities
