I'm very interested in hearing how the higher temp smoking goes. I usually run around 235 with my MES 40 and would love to crank it all the way up to shorten smoking time. I can't get your temps, of course, but I would like to go higher.

Ok...here's the final product. Man, did it ever turn out, beautiful!!! Look at that purty glaze! I took it over to Dad's and he loves it...Mom says the glaze is too spicy for her, but the meat is great. Knew that would happen, seeing that Mom always cooked very bland and never liked spices. ...
Here she is at the 3 hr mark. IT of 106 and smoker at 240. I've drizzled twice with the mop using the cheapo squirt bottle from Wally World. Man, the AMNPS is the only way to fly!!! I got about 2 1/2 hrs of beautiful TBS out of one row of pellets....I'll never load the chip tray, again!! ...
Those are some tasty lookin' butts.............but, I think you missed your calling.....that's got to be some of the finest, label trimming, that I have ever seen. Get down to Kinko's quick!! They need you......
