the main reason for the purchase was just for a straight charcoal grille...
me and the wife have been wanting to get just a cheap charcoal grille for when we do not want to use the propane or smoker

with the weather being horrible the rest of the weekend and today being the only nice day im atleast going to bust out some big burgers tonight after work....but thats about all ill have time and the weather will permit me

I'm right outside of Pittsburgh and today is supposed to get to 83. Rest of the weekend its supposed to rain until Monday.
Third weekend in a row here that was all rain except friday, its really starting to affect my bigger smoking ventures that I've been itching to get going

im sure one of the vets can correct me if im wrong but i know from cooking indoors (oven) when you take your food out the temp usually raises another 10-15 degrees......i'm guessing its the same for smoking?

i want to do another brisket soon......the one in pics turned out wonderful but what i did not know was that the brand new meat thermometer i bought...
Made these yesterday and stuffed with goat cheese. The bacon was junk so i just draped it over (what was usable) instead of weaving.
