dougmays: I've been thinking along the same lines. Lately I have been toying with the idea of getting a stamp made with my logo on it (as permanent marker seems to hold up well to fridge/freezer conditions) and stamping the bags--thoughts?

The short answer is yes
...but...
the manufacturer doesn't recommend boiling the standard bags (though many people on this forum do it successfully for short periods of time...ie to reheat food) IIRC. Lisa also has bags specifically made for boiling foods for longer times--check her site out!

well...I live in the south...so when a recipe says it makes four servings, that's just two servings down here...
I half that and get down to one really large serving...and then I jog...at lot...
