Hi everyone I did my first gamon turned out nice. It cooked for about 1 1/2 hours then basted 3 times with a glaze made up of brown sugar,maple syrup,honey,mustard.
Hi I asked my local tree surgeon I get my wood from if they have any maple and they said they have field maple would this be the same as maple chips you can buy thanks guys
Lol I wish I did no they still there moning I do smoke at night and was going to build a smoker anyway. I've read about a static smoke remover works Abit like powder coating so going to see if this would solve the problem
I did some a turkey joint I was given. I salted it over night first then put a dry rub on it. It took about 4 hours in the smoker but it was the best turkey I have ever had
Well I've got the steel for the build today and took the measurements it will take a while to build with other commitments but hopefully it will be great I'll keep you all updated
I live in a terraced house with only a yard and am building a new smoker. The neibours don't like the smoke is there a way to dispel the smoke when I comes out the smoker I already have a small chimney
