    I think most of us use wood chunks and charcoal... I use a coffee can and about 2 chunks per chimney of charcoal. Other times I will take my cherry splits and cut them to 8" long by 4" width and hiegth.

    Yeah if you cooked it that long I'm not supprised... the temp thing is wierd. Are you sure you were checking the temp consistently? How were you doing so?

    I used a pretty generic rub (Smoked Papirka, Brown Sugar, Onion powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, Cayenne, Ground Red Pepper, Cumin, Hickory flavored Sea Salt, and Fresh Black Pepper)... smoked it over cherry wood everythign was great there was nothing left over... Or people hid it in there...

    of which part? I'll provide you some pics sure. I'm assuming your talking about the L brackets. Just make sure you buy steel angle iron. the hardest part is drilling the holes in place and there is a reason for not measuring them out. If thats what you want I'll send you some instructions it...
