Got a deal on sirloin pork while back used a basic pork rub:
1/3 cup paprika1/4 cup sugar3 tablespoons black pepper2 tablespoons salt2 teaspoons dry mustard2 teaspoons cayenne1 teaspoon white pepper
Smoked at 225 for 3 hours with hickory. I cut the salt in half.

Agree with Princess we used margarine for years, now it is not in the house. Anything flies won't light on can't be food IMO
