Greetings all,
I'm looking to procure a cheap offset smoker that I can fool around with. Any favorites that will be okay between 200-300? I don't need it to last a long time and I'll take care of it. Just curious to see what folks have that's not top of the line. Thanks!
I pretty much want to have one of everything in my arsenal but that's not happening in real life. But that's the beauty of the kettle. It's a super diverse cooker and I love it.
Thanks for the likes and comments everyone. Really appreciated.
Yea it's a good rub. But my favorite from them is the cherry rub. Perfect stuff.
That's actually why I had to hide it away...or I'd finish it all.
Greetings all,
It's been too long for me since I last posted but here's some shots of a double smoked ham we did last weekend. I started it on the kettle joe with a few nice chunks of pecan but had to finish it on thr Bullseye since I underestimated the charcoal needs. Still was great...

I'm an IPA fan- it's my go to style. But why all the light beer bashing?! On a hot day in the yard, a bunch of Miller Lites in the cooler can be a really great day.
So, I have a Bullseye. I like it! I think even though it's advertised as a pellet grill, it works much better as a smoker in my opinion. Many on Bullseye specific groups disagree and love the grilling part of it. This seems a matter of opinion and that's fine by me!
It does not have WiFi or...
Those look so awesome. I love the homemade sauce component too. Funny enough, mine was a tad tougher to pull than usual too and I took it to 215! I wonder if the sauce could be an issue?!
Killer job!
Greetings all,
In what is seemingly becoming a go to meal around here, we had chuck roast enchiladas for dinner tonight. I started with about a 2# chuckie and seasoned it up with salt and pepper (50% pepper, 25% kosher salt, 25% Lawreys).
Into the KJ Jr it went for a few hours at 250-275...
