Yea, my first one was trending that direction. This time I made sure to keep the water pan filled and pulled it a bit early. It came out great. I’m also using propane which can add moister to the cabinet.
A spiral ham is great for sandwiches. It also allows more of the glaze into the ham. I do both, but the spiral does taste better. Most of the ham was donated to a friend on hard times. Being sliced makes it easier. It does not dry out and yes, I do have sharp knives.
