    nope, never.  I smoked some ribs first time with the smoker, no problems at all.

    Using Jeffs Rub, never had an issue with any kind of mexican food or any other foods.  I did have a severe stomach ulcer problem probably 10yrs ago, but I take medicine for it and never had problems with food since.

    Just started smoking my own meats about a month ago, used my smoker 4 times so far. I've smoked 2 pork butts so far. First one was around 5.5 lbs and stayed on the smoker for 13-14 hours. It never got over 175, but held 175 for probably 4 hours and wouldnt budge so I pulled it and let it rest...

    its about a 5.5 lb. butt. Got my ivation (maveric) that i've been sitting here watching. Its been on for about 5 1/2 hrs. now at a varying temp of 240-250 and its sitting on 162, been at 162 for bout an hour now.  Don't plan on pulling it until it  reaches at least 200, preferably 205.     I've got my first pork butt smoking away as we speak. after its done cooking and I wrap it up in foil and towels and put it in the cooler its going to be around 2 or 3 in the morning. Will it be ok to let it rest for 6-7 hours while I get some sleep?
