I found a three day sale two weeks ago at Winn Dixie, but couldn't get there till the last day. $ .99 per pound!!! Limit 2. When I got there they were out, but I was able to get a rain check! Awesome! Have been finding 1/2 pork loins for $1.99 per pound lately also!

Hmmmmm . Sounds interesting! I wonder, if you hot smoke shreaded cheese in a pan under a rack of bacon...to the point where the cheese just melts... My arteries are clogging just thinking about it!

Taking out the seeds and ribs takes out most of the heat and leaves you with a somewhat spicey ABT. I have not heard of soaking in sprite, but it doesn't hurt to try new things!

Welcome Bill! Glad to have you with us! I use an electric smoker and an SFB , but I can't compare with a gasser. The AMNPS works great in the electric and for cold smoking. As for using the grill to smoke, use a small fire on one side and put the meat on the other side. I would be interested...
