I've just started doing GB jerky (I'd never heard of it until recently on this site and my tired teeth had had given up on jerky). My first batch was rolled under wax paper, etc. It was a PITA but it was such a hit I got permission to buy a "Jerky Gun".
I'm going to have to start doing bigger...
We always seem do Corned Beef and Cabbage for New Year's day.
It's a little too salty for the Mrs. low sodium diet but she needs a treat/cheat now and then. They used to have sales at the groceries on Corned Beef at New Year but not so much any more. If they do I'll pick up an extra one for...
Yeah, I like to actually see my character.
It's called Left Alive.
"NOVA SLAVA 2127 : During a devastating surprise invasion, three survivors must find a way to endure and unravel the truth about the war. Outnumbered, outgunned, and up against monstrous mechs, every choice the survivors make...
I tired of Days Gone real quick. I don't like it when you have to go from one point to another with no options. When I got stuck in tunnel and couldn't get out that was it. My daughter tells me I might like Elven Ring but I don't feel like spending $59. One of these days I'll find it cheaper.
I usually find pre-owned games at Gamestop for a decent price, but 3 weeks ago while at Meijer there was a box in the aisle touting "buy 1 get 1 free. $19.99. I rummaged around 'til I found a couple. Not bad for new.
I've been messing around with FARCRY. There are too many control functions...
While checking out the gift shop at the airport waiting for my wife's flight to get in I saw this refrigerator magnet and just had to have it. I thought it fits the forum and even says Indianapolis :-)
@noboundaries , I would have known right away what that plane was, and for some reason I...
-9 here with -35 wind chill. What snow we had mostly blew away.
Curtains are staying closed and I'm not even going out to check the mail.
The fireplace is ready to light and there are things to mess with in the kitchen.
When I was working in construction (Laborers Union and I generally worked Carpenters Helper), on a really cold day they'd send me out to smack a 1" re-bar from a previous pour with an 8# sledge. If the re-bar snapped off they called it a day.
It's gone from drizzle to sleet and now snow here. Temps are supposed to get below zero tonight, but after seeing some of these posts I don't feel so bad LOL!
I did go out this morning for a few things and won't have to leave the house until Monday or Tuesday. I love retirement.....
