Looks like you had a heck of a year for your garden, congratulations. I especially like your Corno D Toro peppers, where I live the temperature gets too hot too fast to make large peppers. Sorry to hear about your daughters car.

Sorry you had trouble with them. I have never experienced any problems with The Sausage Maker. I bet you can use the casings just like you would for fibrous casings.
You will save yourself a lot of aggravation by switching to the Amazen tube for smoking with pellets in your smoker. The expandable tube is really nice. I haven't been able to get the Amnps to burn pellets in my Masterbuilt but it will burn sawdust. The tube burns pellets flawlessly.
Iv'e always wanted to go offshore from Venice and get in on the yellow fin tuna bite, but I haven't made it yet. Your family has a great tradition and it looks like nobody is going to go away hungry. Congratulations.
