    LEM grinder arrived incomplete

Sorry to hear that Choppy. Those little brushes are really nice. I've found toothpicks do the best job on the smallest holes for poking the meat out. The replacement grinder arrived WITH ALL parts! 128512128077127995

    LEM grinder arrived incomplete

Thankfully Amazon has a generous return policy. If it had been a reasonable delivery time I would have waited. But 6 weeks is insane.

Anybody use pork loin to make sausage?

Local store has loins on sale for $2/pd. I usually use pork butts. But right now they're $1.58/pd. so for a bit more I get boneless. Much easier to grind. I'll probably make fresh breakfast sausage

    Finishing Dust?

I saw that too.  So I tried it.  but I sprinkled a bit of my rub powder on.  it wasn't bad at all.  I also tried the butter in the foil technique I saw them use.  I'm not sure about the butter but the powder was a plus.  I'll do it again GREAT thread!!  we should keep this going with other ideas
