I always feel bad posting after being absent from the SMF, I know Im missing a lot of great cooks by good friends and haven't even responded to most kind words on my last thread. My apologies. However, as Ive already whined excessively about here, Im at a busy stage in my life. That being said...
She crushed that one! So awesome to have a 15 year old that can sling a CI like that! You gotta be proud! So, are you going to kick back and let her feed the family now🤣 She has the skill!
Awesome, I’m so happy for you! First shakedown trip coming up and all set! We had a trailer for a few years, but the kids were young and my wife never took to it, so now I’m still a hotel guy. But I loved it when we did it. Awesome people at campgrounds, very social! The best was when we had...

Soaking chips is controversial. I...
I love mushrooms, but don’t trust myself so have to go to a local “mushroom guy” for local morels, oyster, etc. they also grow maitake and others all year around which is nice! I wish I had the brain for hunting them, but fear I’d be dead or tripping if I tried!
Retirement process grinds on, but I’ve had some time to do a few decent cooks. Just haven’t gotten around to posting. My sister came in for Easter weekend so it was a good excuse to go get some heritage pork and great Tri Tip! Both served with our favorite GR garlic mashed potatoes and an...
I got by BelFab from Craig last year. It’s a massive towable one with a flattop and warming box, only 4500 it was an amazing price and solid as you can get. His builds are a bit rough, but they are as dependable snd solid as you can get. For a patio version you’d really get an amazing price and...
