Tried these last nite. I'm honestly not a fan of KFC at all but these looked good. They turned out great !!! Thanks for the recipe.
I served them with a rasberry habanero sauce (thanks Keywesmoke), a horseradish/habanero (lotties) sauce and then a mayo and german mustard sauce. Then som mac n...
Fatback Joe... thanks for the link to the charcoal reviews. I found the stuff that I used and had the huge fire sparkler coming out of my charcoal starter.

That stuff is really dangerous. I'm gonna start looking for something else.
Let's see... sitting here at work or being home smokin' some meat. Thinks I'll pick what you're doing.
Look forward to the other pic's... Have a great day!!
Regular drinking beer for me is Bud Light. I do like Guiness alot and some of the Sam Adams products oh and Murphy's Irish Stout. If I have a few extra bucks in the pocket then I'll treat myself to Red Stripe....but at almost $9.00 a six pack that doesn't happen often.
This is Alton Browns recipe. I'm not a big salmon fan but really liked this alot.
1 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon crushed black peppercorns
2 large salmon fillets or sides, pin bones removed
In a bowl, mix together salt, sugar, brown sugar and...
mmmmmm tasty looking. I love those. Perfect size for a meal.
I've used the small pineapple juice cans and also the small V-8 cans before. Both worked very well.
Just had some of my frozen brisket last nite for din-din. I had sliced it before I vacuum packed it. It was still nice and juicey. If Dad doesn't mind slicing it himself then leave it whole. But for convienence for him you might want to slice it for him.
I love the heat alot. However the stuff that is nothing but heat and no flavor is a waste of time. Sounds like this is some good stuff if it's good on popcorn lol.
If the offer is still good I'd love a sample gallon
Sad face here... no smokin' for me this weekend. Still have tons of left over pulled pork that went into the freezer the other day.
But I will be pulling out the smoked brisket from the freezer and munch on that.
Guess I'll just have to keep checking all the q-views here and every once in...
I'm thinking the paint blistered also. My gas grill did the same thing in a small area a long time ago. It's never gotten worse and has never peeled off.
But like mentioned before you might want to scrub it down. If the film/paint comes off then let it dry and reapply a high temp paint.
I think Mossymo has a good idea. I made two 9 lb butts for a party of about 30 people. But there was a ton of other food as well. Granted there wasn't any left over's (insert sad face here).
Don't forget a few ABT's for the special people.
