I always clean my MES after it cools down. I clean the grates, and remove any chunks of meat/fat. Wipe down the meat probes with soap and water...and that's it!
Hi Tony to SMF. I have a MES 30 and love it. I keep mine stored in my garage. Search the forms on here about the MES brand and you will find a ton of great info that will help you, including ideas you can do to improve it's performance.
