Great job on those Halupki, Charles! There has to be a hundred different ways of making them, and I’m sure my nana’s way of using tomato soup was born out necessity too. But I grew up on them, so that way is how I always preferred them.
They look excellent and I’d belly up to a plateful of...
Yeah they were around $40 on Amazon as I recall. I know you posted the link with yours in another hot sauce thread, can you post it again so I can bookmark it? I have to disable my adblock to click on Amazon links here.
Looks great Jeff! Chicken tortilla soup is delicious! I made some not too long ago, great stuff but the amount of tortilla strips I put on mine would be enough to make you want to slap me into Keto!
It freezes well too (minus the toppings)
I’ve only used glass weights and a baggie filled with brine as weights….but I’m interested in what Steve used.
There’s also something called a pickle pusher that I want to try.
The soup looks pretty good Ryan and glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely an easy one to make with the ingredients being pretty common in people's pantries and fridges.
My wife took convincing after I told her what I was making, but she enjoyed it by the second spoonful. I actually made some not...
I’m not the biggest fan of stuffed peppers, but I love banana peppers and those wrapped in bacon, I would absolutely destroy a few! The K elote looks great too! I tend to eat that a lot but I like the way you did yours!
Nicely done David!
That is just a magnificent meal Charles!! Brussel sprouts are very good done that way and the grits and scallops have my attention. It doesn’t get any better than that!
Thank you Rich! I appreciate it. It’s hard to find a better meal out on the town.
Thank you David, both of those meals are pretty much a tradition for me. My wife usually keys in on the lobster and shrooms, but she couldn’t pick a favorite with the steak. Not a bad choice to have!
Thank you wimpy! That’s a good way to look at it, I like your perspective, now if we can only eat like this everyday!
Thank you Gary! It’s been a rough few years for all of us, I hope you have a safe and wonderful new year.
Thank you Brian, I followed the recipe as written and used my leftover ham bone from Christmas plus some of the leftover sliced ham. Yours looked super good too, I'm sure the older guy liked it...silence is golden. I'll eat mine with some nice buttered bread for a few nights.
Thank you Jeff! I'm getting to the point if I go out to eat, it's for some pizza, wings, burgers or something fried. I'm let down anymore when I go to a nice sit down place. And for what you pay, I could make that same meal all week. We're going to watch the season finale of Yellowstone in a bit...
Thank you Ray, it sure was good and a meal that I know you would love. I could eat my body weight in lobster.
Thank you Edge! The dijon wasn't much, just enough to hold everything together. After I brushed on the mixture, I put a small pad of butter on each tail and a very very light dusting...
