Really like our Solostoves. The bigger ones give us a piece of mind when camping that we won’t burn down the forest. We don’t camp in campgrounds so having a safer way to have a campfire now a days is a good thing.
Those are great stoves. Had one moons ago that someone decided they needed more than I did.
I’ve used all kinds of backpack stoves over the years. Really like the twig burners because we don’t have to pack fuel. Most places we pack in we can find twigs to burn.

My Sous chef was on a hollandaise kick and I got him using this easy microwave recipe that actually works.

I’ve done pernil style pork in the Sous vide and it comes out tasty. I think since tje perjil marinade has a lot of flavor anyways the smoke isn’t missed. Not to mention most pernil for cubano sandwiches isn’t made over fire but roasted in the oven.
Looks tasty. Some Vietnamese, Korean and Thai flavor profiles people don’t like. My wife (who claims to be an adventurous eater) doesn’t like a lot of Vietnamese or Thai food. Crazy!

I tend to go simple on rubs and marinades too. Usually SPOG and Henderson's relish for beef.
Chicken and pork pretty much just SPOG no marinade. For chicken and pork I usually cook larger quantities so we have leftovers to use through out the week or to freeze for later. SO...

Been several years since I made Scarbelly wings. See that I was not the only one making them Sunday. I didn't cook for the super bowl haven't really watched pro ball for many years. I must confess I did watch several Charger games. Herbert really is special to watch as a rookie.
